Looking For Plan B
Any de-stressing and muscle relaxation I may have achieved after 2 weeks of doing-nothing-in-particular vacation has been obliterated after just 3 days back at work. And even winning the lottery has become just a little more elusive.
What's it all for, anyways?

Well, I'm living to hear the screams and ashmatic wheezings of protest as 'true' Star Trek fans rail against the new JJ Abrams take on the franchise. Although I'm not sure their paunchy arms will be able to hold up their 'THIS IS NOT SPOCK' signs for long.
Coffee out my nose. Bravo, sir!
It's nice that they opted for May release. It'll be much more comfortable for them to be sleeping out-of-doors waiting for the honour of calling "First!" when the box office opens. Of course, the threat of sunlight and fresh air may pose problems - depending on which direction the theater doors face.
All the same, I'll be looking forward to this one - but we'll probably wait for the subsequent waves of patrons who bathe with some regularity.
Frankly, after wading through the 26(!) pages of fan praise and outrage over the newest SGA, I am done with these so-called hardcore fans. Sean is right, it is time to like things everyone hates. To that I will add that it is time to like things that do not have a forum.
CL, can't you just wait for the developmentally delayed news reports about the ""trekerists" who are camping out over night in anticipation of the newest iteration of this beloved franchise". Thank you Maria Rodriguez, live from the Park Theatre. Next, are bedposts ruining your marriage?
Bedposts do get in the way of the trapeze, I've noticed.
You are so speaking for me...
Yo, CL. We're having a Who Tavern this Saturday at Chaucer's around eight. Apparently even Jim Dandy hisself might be showing up. If you want to talk Who and the vidya, y'all are invited.
